Curve was a Dyson challenge for the company Dotplot. Dotplot were the winners of the 2022 UK James Dyson Award for their innovation into an at-home breast scanning device and app which aims to give women more control over their breast health. As for this project we were told to design a range of different assets such as mock-ups for the app used with the device, a name, slogan, instruction manual and anything else which we thought was necessary to communicate the importance and existence of Dotplot.
Our main aim as a team was to make sure that the device would appeal and be understood that it is for both male and female users. We did this though using “chest” instead of breast and avoiding colours such as pink.
The Dyson competition was a week-long challenge where me and two other people designed a company from scratch. On feedback our work was well received.
